Tata Power's TP Parivart Subsidiary to Establish 70 MW Solar Project for Tata Steel

Tata Power on Thursday announced that its subsidiary company, TP Parivart, has signed an agreement to develop a 70 MW solar power project for Tata Steel in Akola, Maharashtra.
The power delivery agreement between TP Parivart Ltd and Tata Steel underscores a significant step towards sustainable energy in one of India's leading steel manufacturing firms, according to a BSE filing.
Expected to produce 154 million units of electricity annually, the project will additionally help cut down carbon emissions by an estimated 1,15,000 tonnes, aligning with Tata Power's commitment to renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
