Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated new dairy farms under the state-owned Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited, Aavin, and laid the foundation stone for a cattle feed manufacturing factory. This event, held virtually from his office, included multiple projects such as a 50,000-litre capacity dairy farm each at Karur and Tiruvannamalai, a 5,000-litre curd and buttermilk plant at Kakkalur, and an advanced pathogen laboratory at Madhavaram, all costing Rs 10.61 crore.

Chief Minister Stalin also initiated the groundwork for a new cattle feed factory in Cuddalore, estimated at Rs 33 crore. This facility aims to fulfill the feed requirements of Aavin's dairies across the state, enhancing productivity and quality.

In addition to the dairy projects, Stalin inaugurated 19 panchayat union office buildings in 10 districts, established at a cost of Rs 21.94 crore. He also presented the best transgender award to Sandhya Devi, a folk artist from Kanyakumari district.
