Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy convened a meeting with representatives from the Hare Rama and Hare Krishna Foundation, discussing the launch of a semi-residential school in Kodangal. The Chief Minister's Office announced on Sunday that a centralized kitchen will be set up to provide breakfast and lunch to 28,000 students in the constituency. Construction of the centralized kitchen is already underway.

The kitchen, funded by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions, will be maintained by the Hare Rama-Hare Krishna Charitable Foundation. The pilot project will kick off in Kodangal once the kitchen construction is completed. CM Reddy advised a thorough study for statewide implementation, aiming to deliver quality education and nutritious meals to underprivileged students.

In a Legislative Assembly session on Saturday, CM Reddy also committed to finishing the Old City Metro Rail project within four years. He highlighted that the area is the original habitation of Hyderabad and noted the efforts of former Union Minister Jaipal Reddy in securing funds for the Metro. According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office, the previous government's decade-long tenure failed to extend Metro services to the Old City. The Congress government has since laid the foundation for the second phase of the Metro Rail project, covering a 78-kilometre stretch.
