A devastating fire broke out at a furniture manufacturing unit in Jiyaguda, Hyderabad, early Wednesday morning, claiming one life and injuring six others. The incident occurred in a four-story building with 21 occupants when the fire started around 1.22 am, according to Hyderabad's fire control room.

Fire officials responded swiftly, deploying six fire vehicles to the scene to rescue those trapped inside. 'We received a fire call at 1.22 am and responded immediately. Our team managed to rescue several individuals; unfortunately, one person died, and six others sustained injuries,' said a fire official. The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and an investigation is ongoing.

Further details are awaited as the investigation continues. Meanwhile, a separate fire incident was reported at a factory in Delhi's Narela Industrial area on Wednesday morning. Fire tenders have reached the site, and efforts to extinguish the flames are underway.
