Civil Service Aspirant Electrocuted Near Patel Nagar Metro Station

A 26-year-old civil service aspirant, Nilesh Rai, died of electrocution near Patel Nagar metro station. The incident occurred near an iron gate with an electric current. An investigation is underway.

A 26-year-old civil service aspirant, Nilesh Rai, died of electrocution near Patel Nagar metro station on July 22, the police reported.

The police explained that at approximately 2.43 PM, they received a call about an individual being stuck to an electrified iron gate near Power Gym, Patel Nagar metro station. Upon arrival, authorities confirmed that Rai had been electrocuted due to an electric current flowing through the gate.

Authorities noted water logging on the road at the scene. Rai was rushed to RML Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. A case has been registered at Ranjit Nagar Police Station under Section 106(1), 285 BNS. Forensic teams have inspected the site, and the investigation continues.
