Union Cabinet Approves Full Budget for 2024-25
The Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the full budget for 2024-25. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present her seventh budget in the Lok Sabha, marking the first budget of the BJP-led NDA government's third term.
The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given its nod to the full budget for the fiscal year 2024-25, sources confirmed on Tuesday.
Following the approval, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be presenting her seventh budget in the Lok Sabha. Sitharaman, who holds the distinction of being the country's first full-time woman finance minister, has previously presented five full budgets and one interim budget since she took office in July 2019.
This presentation will mark the inaugural budget of the BJP-led NDA government in its third consecutive term.
