She condemned the economic boycott aimed at a specific region's people. In defense, BJP's Dinesh Sharma praised the order, saying it fosters communal harmony and respects religious sentiments.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath affirmed the mandate ensures the sanctity of pilgrim faith, targeting halal-certified products. The Muzaffarnagar Police noted the order aims to prevent disputes during the Kanwar Yatra. DIG Saharanpur Ajay Kumar Sahni added that all hotels and dhabas along the Kanwar route have complied.
