West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to attend the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tomorrow, with significant political meetings also on her agenda. She plans to meet Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, and possibly Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav during her visit to Mumbai.

"I am going to Mumbai for the wedding of Mukesh Ambani's son. Tomorrow I have an appointment with Uddhav Thackeray. I will also meet Sharad Pawar there. There will be political discussion as we will meet after Lok Sabha elections. Akhilesh Yadav will also reach there, so there is a possibility that I will meet him too," CM Mamata told reporters on Thursday.

The youngest son of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, will marry Radhika Merchant on July 12. The wedding celebrations, meticulously adhering to traditional Hindu Vedic customs, began with a mass wedding ceremony for the underprivileged on July 2, organized by Mukesh and Nita Ambani at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir, Palghar.

The main ceremonies will commence on Friday, July 12, with Shubh Vivah, the wedding function. Guests are encouraged to don traditional Indian attire. The celebrations will continue with Shubh Aashirwad on Saturday, July 13, and the final event, Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception, is set for Sunday, July 14.

On July 3, a grand Mameru ceremony was held, a Gujarati tradition where the bride's maternal uncle brings sweets and gifts. The family also hosted a star-studded Sangeet Ceremony on July 5, featuring a performance by global pop sensation Justin Bieber. Earlier this year, the couple hosted a series of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, attended by celebrities from around the world.
