Remote villages in the area, like Palla, Jakhola, Kimana, Bachher, Syoon and Hapla Valley, have been connected by road. Under the Bharat Mala Project, the road between Almora and Karnaprayag has been approved. Along with this, Mana Pass, Malari Joshimath Road have also been approved. Approval has been given to build a multi-story parking area in Joshimath. An amount of Rs 1 crore 38 lakh has been approved for the construction of an open-air ice skating ring in Oli, CM Dhami said. CM Dhami said that Mana village was declared an iconic village. Prime Minister Modi had called the villages situated in the border area the first village of the country from Mana itself. He said that the state government is continuously taking forward the development work. Attacking the opposition, he said that the people of Congress have nothing to do with the work of public welfare.
