Everyone knows Criminal Minds Season 15 will mark the end to the series. There are many rumors swirling up and one of those claim that the upcoming season could be split into two equal parts. Here, we have some updates on the imminent last season and hopefully these all will be in favor of your interests.

Criminal Minds Season 15 is not only going to be the last one, but the imminent season will also have only 10 episodes. The episodes are said by showrunner Erica Messer to be showing some flashbacks and honoring the history. Even Messer said the last season would have an amalgamation of drama, action and romance.

There is also a possibility to see some antagonists Criminal Minds Season 15 from the previous seasons. And fans will be overjoyed seeing the exploration of the relationship between Jennifer and Dr Reid. His discovery of a new love interest named Max is going to be quite memorable to avid viewers. Max will be portrayed as a kind-hearted, quirky and candid woman. She will initially have a friendship with Dr Reid and then emerge as his very special friend. Unfortunately, she will be present in only two episodes.

May fans are wondering for the last couple of months about the returning actors. Recently, according to CheetSheet, a photoshoot took place for CBS’ Watch! Magazine for the imminent season and some members of the show participated in it. Those on the set included some actors like AJ Cook, Aisha Tyler, Joe Mantegna, Daniel Henney, Paget Brewster, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez and Matthew Gray Gubler. The shot was done by Robert Trachtengerg.

It is also being revealed that Criminal Minds Season 16 would not pick up where it ended. It will feature a time jump of at least six months in the next season. “We kick off the final 10 with a two-parter, basically. Whether they’re aired at the same time or not is unclear, but it’s a two-hour story. The emotional journey of our heroes [picks] up about six months after this finale has aired, and chasing the Chameleon,” Erika Messer said.

However, we still don’t know whether Aaron Hotchner, Derek Morgan and Jason Gideon will be involved in the series’ final conclusion. The airing of Season 16 is yet to be announced. Stay tuned to Devdiscourse to get the latest updates on the television series.
