Kengan Ashura may be till Chapter 140 to 152
The long wait for Kengan Ashura is finally over as the much-awaited Japanese manga series is now available to stream on Netflix. The anime roster of Netflix is growing at a beautiful pace with more original shows and fresh adaptations coming in.
Kengan Ashura, written by Yabako Sandrovich, the anime adaptation premiered on July 31, 2019 through Netflix. The anime aficionados are quite happy as they will continue enjoying the anime series comprising of 12 episodes. The serialization of the manga commenced in 2012, ran for 236 episodes, 26 volumes and concluded in August last year. The studio named Larx Entertainment behind the anime series earlier worked on two titles before being assigned to the Original anime.
A poll on Kengan Ashura was released in January 2015 by Magazine Ura Sunday questioning anime fans to decide which of their series should receive an anime adaptation and the decision, although late, has been taken based on fans’ opinions. However, many fans are also wondering when part 2 of the Japanese manga series will be coming. According to What’s on Netflix, based on Larx Entertainment’s current progress in work, the series can be expected anytime in 2020.
Kengan Ashura manga consists of 237 chapters. Thus, one-third of it has been covered by the anime. The abovementioned source mentioned that the anime would cover up to Chapter 140 or Chapter 152 as the fights are highly significant and expected to be stretched. The opening theme is ‘King & Ashley’ by My First Story while the ending theme is ‘Born This Way’ by BAD HOP.
