Criminal Minds Season 15 to be ‘explosive’ with less no. of episodes
Criminal Minds is coming to an end with Season 15 after having a long journey. CBS has already declared that the long-running police procedural crime drama television series will mark its end with the airing of Season 15’s episodes.
Earlier fans expected Criminal Minds Season 15 would arrive by fall this year. Since the crime drama series started in 2005, all the seasons were either premiered in September or October. But the trend is announced to be broken for the last season as the timeslot is now occupied by S.W.A.T. CBS’ new crime drama series S.W.A.T. stars Shemar Moore, who played the role of Derek Morgan, a supervisory special agent in Criminal Minds.
Although CBS renewed Criminal Minds Season 15 in January, the premiere date is yet to be announced. This is the reason why fans are speculating that the final season may be pushed back to 2020. Whatever may be the release date, one of the most important updates is that the final season is going to have one memorable ending, as revealed Aisha Tyler, who played the role of Dr. Tara Lewis on the series. “It’s bittersweet that Criminal Minds is coming to an end. But I’m grateful that unlike some shows, we were given the time to plan a proper series finale. We are all trying to savour our last moments on set. The end of the series is going to be really explosive!” Tyler said to Parade.
On the other hand, the imminent season would pick up where the previous season left off. This season is going to have only ten episodes. The viewers, what the showrunner Erica Messer said, would likely to see some flashbacks in the final season to cherish and honour the history. This will surely bring tears in eyes, mainly to those viewers who have been watching the series for a long time. Even Messer said that the upcoming season will have an amalgamation of drama, action and romance. And the entry of Rachael Leigh will bring enthusiasm in Season 15.
