Better Call Saul Season 5: Kim’s discontent with Saul’s action, Gus-Mike’s bondage broken
Global fans were excited when Better Call Saul got a green signal for Season 5 at Television Critics’ Association (TCA) in August 2018 ahead of the premiere of Season 4. However, we are still far away from its premiere as in April we got to know that fans will have to wait a little longer. The series has no chance to have its premiere in 2020.
Better Call Saul Season 5 had to be moved further as there is a requirement of more pairs of hands to complete the forthcoming new instalment, according to a recent statement given by Sarah Barnett, AMC President of Entertainment Networks. “We said on our most recent earnings call that the series would come back for season five next year. It’s driven by talent needs, which we would not override if it would result in a worse show,” she said.
Rhea Seehorn recently had a media interaction where she shared her opinions about Better Call Saul’s future and the fate of her popular character Kimberly Wexler aka Kim. The 47-year old American actress that fans will be astonished as her character is going to see worse conditions in future. “There are stories I could envision where she stayed with Jimmy and became something that's tragic,” she said.
In the upcoming episodes of Better Call Saul Season 5, the viewers will surely be stunned seeing the complete transformation of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) into Saul Goodman. This will be quite shocking to see born as Jimmy, Odenkirk’s character transforms into the ill-witted Saul Goodman. He (Goodman) will be observed doing almost everything to make him the opposite of his last name, TV Season & Spoilers noted. On the other hand, he is likely to increase the decree of his crimes as he works for the drug lord Walter White. As Kim will not be able to accept all his new actions, they are expected to move from each other with the sagacity of hostility.
In the upcoming Season 5 of Better Call Saul, the viewers will see how the relationship of Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) and Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) got strained. Mike used to be Gus’ most loyal guy and his right-hand in Breaking Bad. “They ended on a hard note … Certainly, things will be strained, and Mike hasn’t given his allegiance over to Gus completely. There’s going to be some moves that have to be made, some conversations between Mike and Gus that either repair, or don’t repair, the relationship. That comes down to some moral questions that may come up between both of them about how can Mike ever work for Gus,” Giancarlo Esposito detailed in a recent conversation with The Wrap.
