Tourism in Kashmir takes a digital leap forward as the renowned Tulip Garden introduces online and QR code ticketing options. This advancement, announced by Floriculture Director Shakeel-ul-Rehman Rather, aims to enhance visitor convenience and manage the influx efficiently.
Authorities have made online ticket booking available at strategic locations such as the Srinagar Airport, ensuring seamless access to Asia's largest tulip garden. Efforts include partnerships with international tourism departments, ensuring global tourists can easily book their visits, while the traditional ticketing method remains available for now.
Nestled between Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Hills, the garden is expected to break last year's visitor record, marking a promising start to Kashmir's tourism season. Set up in 2007 by then Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, the garden now spans 55 hectares of vibrant floral beauty.
