In anticipation of the Maha Kumbh 2025, set to unfold in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, Swami Adhokshajanand Devtirth has commended the efforts of the administration in establishing an ideal spiritual environment. The UP government, accentuating this sentiment, issued a statement on Tuesday highlighting the preparations.
Swami Adhokshajanand lauded Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for personally overseeing arrangements, thereby reinforcing the faith and morale of devotees. This year's event aims to fortify Sanatan Dharma globally through various rituals that not only promise blessings for the state but also for Adityanath personally.
A unique feature of this year's Maha Kumbh will be the use of banana leaf mats from Assam. These mats, along with coconuts and betel nuts, are set to add significant cultural value and are pivotal for the yagyashala ceremonies, the UP government confirms in its statement.
