He described a visit to the sacred grove in Mawphlang as enlightening and cited the Khasi ethos of preserving nature for future generations. The Union Minister also praised state development under Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, indicating support for expanding regional aviation infrastructure to boost connectivity.
