During the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas event in Meghalaya, Civil Aviation Minister Kinjurapu Rammohan Naidu commended tribal communities for their profound respect for nature and their significant environmental knowledge.

Highlighting Meghalaya's deep cultural ties to nature, Naidu underscored the valuable lessons the world could learn from these communities. He described a visit to the sacred grove in Mawphlang as enlightening and cited the Khasi ethos of preserving nature for future generations. The Union Minister also praised state development under Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, indicating support for expanding regional aviation infrastructure to boost connectivity.

Naidu further honored the significance of the Diwas as a tribute to tribal freedom fighters and urged for increased global recognition of tribal culture and knowledge. He expressed optimism about enhancing the state's aviation sector to bolster Meghalaya's growth.
