The Kirti Kisan Union, a farmers' organization, has contributed Rs 5 lakh in humanitarian aid to Palestinians, demonstrating solidarity amid the ongoing conflict. The donation was made through a meeting with Palestine's ambassador to India, Abed Elrazeg Abu Jazer, at the Palestinian embassy.
The union has been vocal in demanding a permanent truce in West Asia and has urged the United Nations to find a sustainable solution to the Palestine issue. Its leadership, including President Nirbhai Singh Dhudike and General Secretary Rajinder Singh Deep Singh Wala, expressed their stance in a press statement.
They condemned Israel's actions as genocide and compared the situation to historical atrocities against Sikhs. The union appealed for global action and intervention to ensure a peaceful resolution. They also called on Sikh organisations to assist the people of Gaza.
