President Droupadi Murmu embarked on a significant visit to the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu, marking a two-day itinerary filled with cultural and educational engagements.
Upon her arrival in Daman, she received a guard of honour at the Daman Airport. Her visit included an exploration of a newly inaugurated aviary in Jampore, a tour of a government engineering college, and the National Institute of Fashion Technology campus in Varkund. A stroll along the scenic Namo Path allowed her to witness various folk performances.
As the visit continues, the President is set to interact with academia at the NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute in Silvassa and inaugurate a school at Zanda Chowk. Her engagement will culminate with a visit to INS Khukri Memorial in Diu, highlighting the cultural and educational focus of her tour.
