Hundreds of devotees made their way to Renuka Lake in Sirmaur district for a holy dip, marking the religious occasion of Hariprabodhini Ekadashi. The bathing ritual commenced at 3 am and is expected to extend into late evening hours.

The Shri Renuka Ji International Fair, a five-day event, was inaugurated on Monday with the ceremonial arrival of Lord Parshuram's palanquin on the lake's shores. Tradition holds that Lord Parshuram visits his mother Renuka Ji annually from his temple in Jamu Koti village, located just 3 kilometers away. The festival is celebrated with customary fervor and enthusiasm.

Visitors from various northern Indian states arrived in large numbers at the 'Snan Ghat' for spiritual cleansing and to offer prayers to Bhagwati Renuka Ji and Lord Parshuram. Amidst the bustling scene, Narottam Das from Kaithal, Rajpal Goyal from Delhi, and Balbeer Singh Chauhan from Chakrata revealed their longstanding family tradition of attending this revered fair.
