Her death occurred at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center following a brief illness, confirmed Christopher Zunner, the dance company's managing director of public relations.

Meanwhile, in the music world, pop sensation Taylor Swift emerged as the major winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards held in Manchester, England, on Sunday. Swift, who had been nominated for seven awards, claimed four, including best artist, best video for her song 'Fortnight' with Post Malone, best live performance, and best U.S. act.
