In a move demonstrating profound humility, celebrated actor Kamal Haasan announced on Monday his decision to forgo titles such as 'Ulaga Nayagan', urging fans to call him by his name or just KH.
Haasan, who is also leading the Makkal Needhi Maiam party, founded in 2018, expressed gratitude for the accolades but stressed that no artist should be elevated above their art.
Describing cinema as a collective art form, he emphasized that it is larger than any single individual and is the product of collaboration among many, urging everyone to focus on the art itself.
