Gautam Lahiri Re-elected as Press Club President
Senior journalist Gautam Lahiri has been re-elected as the president of the Press Club of India. The election results, announced on Sunday, also saw Sangeeta Barooah Pisharoty, Neeraj Thakur, Afzal Imam, and Mohit Dubey securing key positions.

The Press Club of India has reaffirmed its trust in Gautam Lahiri, re-electing him as president for a second term. Sunday's announcement came after a successful bout of polling held on the previous day.
Alongside Lahiri, Sangeeta Barooah Pisharoty was elected as the vice president, while Neeraj Thakur took the role of secretary general. Afzal Imam will serve as the joint secretary and Mohit Dubey as the treasurer.
The elections were conducted to fill the top five positions and 16 management committee spots, with voting taking place at the club's premises in the heart of the city.
