Renowned Tamil actor 'Delhi' Ganesh, credited with a wide-ranging filmography in more than 400 movies, passed away at the age of 80 in his Ramapuram residence late Saturday night. His family attributed his death to age-related ailments.
Ganesh's son, Maha Delhi Ganesh, confirmed the news to reporters and mentioned that the actor had been under treatment for his ailments. The actor, whose career began in the theaters of Delhi in the 1960s, transitioned to the Tamil film industry under the guidance of iconic director K Balachander.
