India has implemented an advanced maritime domain awareness system that ensures the protection of the country's interests by closely monitoring oceanic activities, according to Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff.
In a statement following the conclusion of the THINQ 2024 competition event, Tripathi dismissed concerns over China's dual carrier operations in the South China Sea. He emphasized India's vigilance over its maritime area of interest, particularly around China's regional actions, which include collaborations with Sri Lanka.
Highlighting national achievements, Tripathi celebrated the mission of two female officers circling the globe in the Navika Sagar Parikrama-2. He also lauded innovation in military recruitment and collaborations with public and private sector enterprises to maintain technological advancements within the Navy.
