Three individuals suffered minor injuries while navigating a slippery path caused by rain on their journey to the Deviramma hill temple, a police official reported on Friday.
The injured individuals received immediate first aid and were released shortly after, confirmed Vikram Amathe, Superintendent of Police in Chikkamagaluru, speaking to the Press Trust of India.
Despite the challenging conditions, large numbers of devotees traveled to the shrine for the 24-hour darshan event, which prompted police to enforce security measures and offer medical assistance along the route.
