New Leadership Revamps Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board

The Andhra Pradesh government has formed a new board for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, consisting of 24 members. Bollineni Rajgopal Naidu has been appointed as chairman. Suchitra Ella of Bharat Biotech is among the board members. This change follows the YSR Congress's defeat in the state assembly elections.

The Andhra Pradesh government unveiled a restructured board for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Wednesday, marking a new chapter for the world's wealthiest Hindu temple situated on Tirumala Hills.

Bollineni Rajgopal Naidu has taken the helm as chairman of the newly constituted 24-member board. His appointment marks a significant shift in leadership, following the defeat of the YSR Congress in the recent assembly elections.

Among the prominent members of this new board is Suchitra Ella, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Bharat Biotech International Ltd. Naidu's chairmanship underscores the government's strategic maneuvering as he also serves as the chairman of TV5 Telugu news channel.
