E-Shakti: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Through Digital Commerce
E-Shakti, a tech platform developed by student Tejas Dahiya, aims to empower 50,000 women in rural districts through digital commerce. By connecting them with larger markets, it provides artisans and small-scale producers an opportunity to showcase their products. The initiative supports economic development and self-reliance.

In a groundbreaking move towards enhancing rural employment and empowering women economically, a novel ecommerce tech platform is set to launch, offering local women entrepreneurs a gateway to global markets.
Named E-Shakti, the platform is the brainchild of high school student Tejas Dahiya. It will soon transition into a mobile app, according to district officials.
"E-Shakti provides 50,000 women in our district the capability to participate in digital commerce," stated District Magistrate Monika Rani. She highlighted its role in linking rural communities with expansive markets, enabling artisans and small-scale producers to display their products and acquire digital proficiency, promoting self-reliance.
