The Kerala government has ensured that all necessary arrangements are in place for the upcoming annual Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage to the Lord Ayyappa shrine in Sabarimala, according to Devaswom Minister V N Vasavan.

Following a review meeting, the minister emphasized that both the Kerala State Transport Project and National Highway departments have been instructed to implement safety precautions in areas prone to accidents along the pilgrimage route.
