Godavari Gallery Launch: A Step Towards Sustainable Water Management

The Godavari Gallery, curated by The Godavari Initiative, was recently launched, spotlighting the importance of water stewardship. The event was inaugurated by Shri (Dr.) Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Hon'ble Minister of State for Jal Shakti, as part of efforts to promote sustainable water management.

At the India CSR and ESG Summit 2024, the crucial National Consultation on Collective Action for the Godavari River Basin took place. This event underscored the urgent ecological challenges afflicting the basin, advocating for a concerted collective action approach. The aim was to foster a shared vision for impactful, long-term sustainable water management solutions.

The consultation brought together esteemed experts and stakeholders, featuring in-depth discussions on water stewardship, climate resilience, and sustainable development. Through collaborative discussions, an actionable roadmap was crafted to ensure the vitality of the Godavari River Basin.
