The 2024 Silk Road Week came to a grand conclusion on October 14 in Paris with a lavish exhibition titled 'Charm of the Silk Roads: Chinese Silk Arts.' This event, held at the Musée national des arts asiatiques-Guimet, was hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and drew art enthusiasts eager to celebrate the rich heritage of Chinese silk craftsmanship.

More than 100 distinguished guests, including cultural dignitaries and museum officials from across the globe, attended the launch ceremony. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the China National Silk Museum and the Nouvel Institut Franco-Chinois, will further captivate audiences at L'institut Marangoni in Paris for an additional month.

Concurrent events included a symposium on Sino-French fashion dialogues, fostering discussions between designers and academics, and a fashion show spotlighting innovative designs inspired by Silk Road heritage. These initiatives aim to deepen cultural exchanges between China and France, marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
