Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon is set to share significant screen time with veteran star Kajol in the upcoming film 'Do Patti'. This movie will not only mark Kriti's first production venture but will also feature her in a dual role, alongside Kajol's portrayal of a tenacious police inspector.

Written by Kanika Dhillon and directed by newcomer Shashanka Chaturvedi, 'Do Patti' unfolds within the fictional town of Devipur in Uttarakhand, where Kajol's character leads an investigation into an attempted murder. Kriti expressed her excitement at finally having 'meaty scenes' with Kajol, an opportunity they missed in their previous collaboration, 'Dilwale'.

'Do Patti' marks the emergence of a trend where female stars are transitioning into production roles, with Kriti joining the likes of Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The movie is set for its Netflix debut and also features TV star Shaheer Sheikh, Tanvi Azmi, and Brijendra Kala.
