Tennis Legends Sharapova and Bryan Brothers Inducted into Hall of Fame

Maria Sharapova, famed for her prowess on the tennis court and her significant off-court presence, has been selected for induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Joining her are Bob and Mike Bryan, the legendary doubles duo known for their record-breaking 16 major titles.
The Hall of Fame, located in Newport, Rhode Island, released its Class of 2025 inductions on Thursday. Sharapova is noted for her rare achievement of winning each of the four Grand Slam events, standing as one of only ten women in history to achieve this feat, and being the first Russian woman to reach world No. 1 in singles rankings.
Sharapova's illustrious career, which ended in 2020 at age 32 due to injuries and a doping suspension, left a lasting legacy in tennis. Meanwhile, the Bryan brothers not only secured a career Grand Slam but also led the ATP doubles rankings for a record 438 weeks, clinching a gold medal in the 2012 Olympics as well as the 2007 Davis Cup for the U.S. Bob Bryan now manages the American Davis Cup team.
