Empowering Women Through Skill Development: Project Dignity's Success

Project Dignity, an initiative by Rotary International, the Loomba Foundation, and Lok Bharti, has successfully trained 150 widows and single mothers in skills such as sewing, beauty, and hospital assistance. Conducted across various centers in Mumbai, the project has reached 1300 women to date.

Project Dignity has concluded yet another successful session, equipping 150 widows and single mothers with essential skills including sewing machine operation, beautician training, and hospital general duty assistance.

Conceived by Rotary International alongside the Loomba Foundation and Lok Bharti, this initiative aims at uplifting women from underprivileged backgrounds.

The training was conducted at various Lok Bharti centers around Mumbai, and to date, has positively impacted 1300 women aged between 25 and 45, providing them with better employment opportunities.
