Pop music legend Madonna attended a Billie Eilish concert at Madison Square Garden, making her first public appearance since the death of her brother, Christopher Ciccone, People magazine reported.

Madonna and her boyfriend, Akeem Morris, were among the concertgoers less than two weeks after Christopher's passing on October 4. The late Ciccone, who was working on a tell-all book, shared a close relationship with the singer before succumbing to cancer.

Madonna paid tribute to her brother on Instagram, penning a heartfelt message accompanied by personal photos. She reminisced about their shared childhood, stating, "We danced through the madness...dance was a kind of superglue that held us together."

Reflecting on his influence, she described Christopher as a "painter, poet, and visionary" whose "impeccable taste" and "sharp tongue" she admired. Despite intermittent communication in recent years, their bond was rekindled during his illness.

Madonna concluded her message with poignant words, "I did my best to keep him alive as long as possible. Once again, we held hands. We closed our eyes and we danced. Together. I'm glad he's not suffering anymore." Christopher's death follows the passing of Madonna's stepmother, Joan Clare Ciccone, at age 81, after a battle with cancer.
