Respected corporate leaders, influential politicians, and beloved celebrities came together on Thursday to honor Ratan Tata, one of India's most distinguished business icons, who has passed away at the age of 86.

His last rites took place at Mumbai's Worli Crematorium amid full state honors, attended by dignitaries including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Congress's Sushilkumar Shinde. The Mumbai Police extended a gun salute as part of the homage.

Ratan Tata, who never married and led a humble life, is remembered for steering Tata Group to extraordinary heights, highlighted by key international acquisitions. From historic British brands to a colossal $165 billion in revenue, his legacy transcends global boundaries.
