Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marked the auspicious occasion of Navratri by offering prayers at the revered Maa Pateshwari temple on Thursday.

As both the chief minister and Gorakshapeethadhishwar, Adityanath sought divine blessings for the state's prosperity and well-being. According to an official statement from Lucknow, Adityanath's two-day Balrampur tour included a review meeting on Wednesday where he inspected ongoing construction projects at the local medical college and university.

During his visit, he also attended to the cows in the temple complex, feeding them jaggery and fodder. Furthermore, he met with children from the Tharu tribe hostel to ensure their educational and living conditions were satisfactory. The temple's Mahant, Mithilesh Nath Yogi, joined him during various parts of his itinerary.
