In a heated exchange, 'RRR' star Ram Charan publicly criticized Telangana Minister Konda Surekha for her explosive allegations blaming Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader KT Rama Rao for the divorce of actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya. Charan took to social media on Thursday, expressing, "The statements made by Konda Surekha garu are irresponsible and baseless. Making vulgar public comments about respected individuals is shocking, especially coming from an elected leader who holds public office. This kind of slander aims to destroy the fundamentals of our society."

Backing his sentiments, Ram Charan highlighted the unity within the film industry against such derogatory comments, stating, "The film fraternity is together and will not tolerate such reckless behaviour aimed at us. Our private lives are sacred to us and deserve due respect. We are public figures, we must uplift, not tear one another. #FilmIndustryWillNotTolerate." His remarks were echoed by film stalwarts like NTR Jr, SS Rajamouli, Allu Arjun, and Chiranjeevi, who also condemned the minister's controversial statements.

Earlier, Minister Konda Surekha made sensational claims implicating KT Rama Rao in personal matters relating to actress Samantha, even alleging coercive tactics against female actors in Tollywood. The comments have sparked a significant backlash, prompting legal action from Nagarjuna Akkineni and public statements from both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya urging restraint and privacy. As the controversy rages, the issue highlights the fragile intersection of politics and personal lives in India.
