Construction on the 161-foot-high spire of Ayodhya's Ram temple commenced on Thursday, with completion anticipated in four months, according to temple construction committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra.
This development coincides with the accelerated construction of seven additional temples in the complex, dedicated to seven sages. These are also targeted for completion within the same timeframe, Mishra confirmed.
A three-day review meeting, beginning Thursday, aims to expedite the Ram temple's construction, addressing workforce shortages and possibly scaling up the technical team, Mishra said. He arrived in Ayodhya for these discussions. The temple's consecration was conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22.
