Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda sustained a leg injury early Tuesday due to an accidental discharge of his licensed revolver at his Mumbai home. Upon hearing the news, his daughter Tina Ahuja and Krushna Abhishek's wife, Kashmera Shah, promptly visited CritCare Hospital to check on him.

Govinda reassured his fans about his condition in an audio message shared by Shiv Sena member Krishna Hegde. He stated, "With the blessings of you all and my parents, the bullet has been removed. I thank the doctors and you for keeping me in your prayers." The incident occurred around 4:45 AM as the actor was preparing to leave for Kolkata and was putting his revolver back in the cupboard, which accidentally discharged according to Mumbai Police.

Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, confirmed to ANI that the bullet has been removed, and Govinda is stable but remains in the hospital as a precaution. The Mumbai Police also verified that the injury was not serious. Govinda, known for his successful film career since the 1980s, remains one of Bollywood's beloved actors, famed for his comedy and dance.
