Cricket Luminaries Celebrate Women's World T20 Cup at Unique Conclave

Cricket legends Zaheer Abbas, Mudassar Nazir, and former World Cup-winning coach Dav Whatmore headlined a unique conclave aimed to celebrate the upcoming Women’s World T20 Cup, set to take place in the UAE from Thursday.

The event, held on Sunday, marked the 100th episode of Cricket Predicta, Asia’s largest cricket talk show. It hosted a distinguished lineup of panelists from six countries, including former UAE cricketer Shahzad Altaf and Zimbabwe women's cricketer Tasmin Granger, among others.

During one of the sessions, Abbas voiced his frustration and concern over the state of Pakistan cricket, emphasizing its impact on the global cricket economy. The former ICC President also paid tribute to Indian spin legend Bishan Singh Bedi. Discussions also covered the future of cricket and its journalism, alongside the history of women's cricket.
