The Pakistani fantasy drama series 'Barzakh', starring Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024.

Directed by Asim Abbasi, 'Barzakh' dives into themes of love, loss, and family dynamics, set against the stunning backdrop of the Hunza Valley. The show premiered on Zindagi’s YouTube and ZEE5 on July 19.

The series, translated as 'Limboland' in English, tells the story of a 76-year-old man who shocks his estranged family by announcing his engagement to the ghost of his first love. The series will compete against entries from 13 other countries at the awards gala in December in Singapore.
