Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have concluded their divorce proceedings, finalizing a process that began with their separation six years ago. Both parties have waived spousal support, and they share custody of their 11-year-old daughter, Everly, as confirmed by E! News.

The former couple, famed for their roles in 'Step Up,' reached a settlement ahead of a trial set for December. While the agreement's details remain confidential, it has been established that future custody disputes will be resolved through private negotiations with a judge.

Documents obtained by E! News reveal that discussions over Tatum's financial interests in the 'Magic Mike' franchise were contentious, forming a significant part of their legal wrangling. Jenna Dewan filed for divorce in 2018, citing disputes over shared assets, especially regarding 'Magic Mike' intellectual property.

Recent filings indicate that Dewan alleged Tatum had placed franchise earnings into an irrevocable trust and transferred licensing rights without informing her. Tatum has rebuffed these claims, asserting that he never denied Dewan her share of community assets or income and maintained that she had full financial access during their marriage.

In the months preceding the settlement, tensions flared, with Tatum accusing Dewan of employing delay tactics to extend the legal proceedings. He argued that her attempts to disqualify his legal team were baseless and intended to obstruct the case, according to E! News.

Dewan, now engaged to Steve Kazee and a mother of three, navigated numerous challenges during their separation. (ANI)
