Delhi MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi Accused of Assaulting Public Servant

Aam Aadmi Party MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi is facing serious allegations of physically assaulting a Delhi Jal Board employee. The incident reportedly occurred at a sewage pumping station in northwest Delhi's Model Town, according to local police.
An FIR was filed at the Model Town Police Station following a complaint from 59-year-old field assistant Satpal Singh. Singh claimed that the MLA, accompanied by a group of 20-25 people, confronted him about the operation of a sewage pump.
When Singh explained that the pump was functioning, an argument broke out, leading to the MLA allegedly slapping Singh and beating him with shoes. Police have registered a case against Tripathi under multiple sections of the BNS, including obstructing a public servant and causing voluntary harm.
