Rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested on September 16 in New York City as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. According to a federal indictment, he faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

During a September 17 arraignment hearing, Combs' lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, disclosed that the rapper is receiving treatment and therapy for issues he respectfully needs to address. Agnifilo did not provide further details to maintain confidentiality.

Agnifilo acknowledged Combs' imperfections, citing drug use and toxic relationships. At 54, Combs is reportedly seeking help. He has been in the spotlight for legal troubles recently, including a sexual assault lawsuit filed by former bandmate Dawn Richard. The lawsuit encompasses claims of battery, false imprisonment, and withheld royalties.

Richard's allegations are among several, following a lawsuit by ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura that settled last year. More accusers, including Liza Gardner, Joi Dickerson-Neal, and Crystal McKinney, have since come forward with similar complaints.

Prosecutors also allege that drugs were found in the Manhattan hotel room where Combs was arrested. The indictment details purported assaults dating back to 2009, including instances of hitting, dragging, and kicking, often in the presence of others.
