Nicole Kidman, widely recognized as a style icon, has revealed her insecurities about her appearance during her youth, People magazine reports. In a newly released docuseries, the Oscar-winning actress delves into the fashion norms of the 1990s.

Kidman, one of the most promising stars of the 1990s, shared her experience of being dressed by designer John Galliano for the 1997 Oscars. She recalled her mixed feelings about her body image and the specially-designed dress amidst the event's glamour.

"Can you believe it?" Kidman exclaimed, reflecting on her desire to be shorter and curvier while coping with being 5'11 and slender. She also expressed admiration for those who have carved out their own identities in fashion, drawing inspiration from women like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. Kidman reminisced about a time when Hollywood closely collaborated with Parisian fashion salons, saying such connections should be revived.
