PM Modi to Launch Subhadra Yojana and Flag Off Vande Bharat Express in Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate multiple key projects during his one-day visit to Odisha on September 17. The governor and chief minister will be present at respective railway stations as Modi flags off six Vande Bharat Express trains, including two through Odisha.
The PM will launch the 'Subhadra' yojana at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar—a financial assistance scheme intended to benefit over one crore women. Modi will initiate the transfer of funds to the bank accounts of more than 10 lakh women during the yojana's launch.
Additionally, Modi will lay the foundation stone for railway projects worth Rs 2,800 crore, aimed at boosting Odisha's railway infrastructure. His multi-day tour will also see him inaugurate projects worth more than Rs 12,460 crore across Jharkhand, Gujarat, and Odisha.
