PM Modi Unveils Ambitious Railway Projects, Eyes Bullet Train Future

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his optimism about the future of high-speed rail transport in India, heralding the forthcoming operationalization of the country's first bullet train. His remarks came while he virtually laid the foundation stone for new railway projects across Telangana, Odisha, and Jammu and Kashmir.
Notably, PM Modi highlighted the successful trial of the new sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train, which achieved speeds of 180 km/h. Modi emphasized that these advancements signify not only personal pride but are milestones for the entire nation. The Prime Minister cited the expansion of India's metro network to over 1000 km as a testament to the nation's infrastructure growth.
Among the inaugurated projects is the New Jammu Railway Division and the Charlapalli New Terminal Station in Telangana. These initiatives underscore India's commitment to enhanced connectivity, embodying the philosophy of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas,' or inclusive development. The Rayagada Railway Division Building is expected to boost socio-economic conditions in Odisha and beyond.
