US Ambassador Eric Garcetti has reiterated America's commitment to building a 'BFF (best friends forever)' relationship with India, indicating that future changes in US leadership won't affect this partnership.
Speaking at the Milken Institute event, Garcetti highlighted the risks of economic and security dependencies on a single nation, without directly naming China. He urged American investors to capitalize on the investment opportunities in India, outlined by five pension funds managing USD 1.8 trillion in assets.
Garcetti also spotlighted areas of potential cooperation, including nuclear energy, solar projects, and defense, and commended India's diplomatic efforts in mediating between Russia and Ukraine.
