RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday emphasized the versatility of women, stating they can handle all tasks that men can, and even excel in areas where men traditionally struggle. His remarks came during an event hosted by a women's multi-state cooperative society.

Addressing the concept of 'women's emancipation,' Bhagwat criticized the term, suggesting that true emancipation comes from granting women the freedom to pursue their desires, which in turn benefits society as a whole. He lauded the inherent maternal instinct and concern for welfare present in Indian women.

The event also saw Bhagwat unveiling a portrait of former RSS leader M S Golwalkar. Additionally, Bhagwat performed aarti at a Ganesh pandal, where he expressed his prayers for universal welfare to the gathered reporters.
