Previously teaming up for 'Haseen Dillruba' and its sequel, 'Phir Aayi Hasseen', both released on Netflix, this upcoming film is described as an action-thriller exploring the deep bond between a mother and her child. A press release stated that 'Gandhari' would offer a riveting storyline with high emotional and action-packed stakes. Pannu is set to portray a determined mother on a mission.

Helmed by Devashish Makhija, known for critically-acclaimed films like 'Ajji' and 'Bhonsle', 'Gandhari' is scripted by Dhillon and promises to showcase a powerful narrative of revenge and redemption.
